It started beneath Dhaulagiri.

I was born in Myagdi, a district in western Nepal in the shadow of Dhaulagiri, the world's seventh-highest mountain, and spent my first eight years there. Then I moved to Kathmandu for school, and that's where I eventually learned to build software. I finished a BSc in Computing (Software Engineering) through the University of Northampton at NAAMI College, and started shipping PHP and Laravel sites for real clients.

Since then I've built NLP pipelines for Japanese text, real-time monitoring for EV charging stations in Canada, and earned a Postgraduate Diploma in AI & Machine Learning from Lambton College. Today I run the automation and integration layer behind a subscription business in Nelson, British Columbia, another mountain town.

The thread through all of it: find the manual, error-prone process and replace it with something that just works.

  • Shipped JavaScript features in a team, with automated testing to improve release quality and shorten delivery times.

  • Built NLP pipelines for a Japanese-language data-annotation system, using Named Entity Recognition and document-similarity models.
  • Raised system accuracy from 70% to 80% with Transformer models (spaCy, Hugging Face, BERT) and a Label Studio retraining loop.
  • Built an AI-powered recommendation system with Flask and React, and indexed data in Elasticsearch for fast retrieval.

Built a two-way SMS pipeline linking the CRM, a Make.com orchestration layer and an SMS gateway, with phone-number normalization and a Postgres message store.
